What makes Carpark Records special?

A label that backs young artists early on: Toro Y Moi, aka Chaz Bear, became one of the faces of chillwave with his debut “Causers Of This” (2010). After that his sound grew warmer and more varied – we have “Underneath The Pine”, “What For?” and the early recordings on “June 2009”.

Beach House from Baltimore released their second album “Devotion” (2008) here, before their dream pop became known around the world. Plus Chelsea Jade from New Zealand with “Soft Spot”.
