Hardcore

Hardcore on vinyl: punk at full force

In short: Hardcore mainly means the fast, raw hardcore punk that developed in the US in the late seventies and established a scene of its own in the early eighties – short songs, loud guitars, lots of energy and a do-it-yourself attitude. In club music the term also stands for hard electronic styles; some records here sit on that border. The Vinyl Room currently has 20 hardcore records.
