Contemporary

Contemporary on vinyl: new music from Stockhausen to Max Richter

In short: Here, contemporary brings together modern and contemporary classical music and experimental border areas – for orchestra, ensembles and electronics. Here it reaches from Karlheinz Stockhausen and the group Musica Elettronica Viva to Max Richter, Nils Frahm and Jóhann Jóhannsson – and to film music that takes up this sound. The Vinyl Room currently has 47 contemporary records.
