What makes Radio Martiko special?

From Morocco comes Abdou El Omari with “Nuits De Printemps” and “Nuits D’Été” – floating organ music between Arabic melody and psychedelia. From Greece come “Divine Reeds” with clarinettist Tasos Chalkias and the collection “Ena Tefariki” with laika, Farfisa organ and bouzouki rock.

Plus “Zamaan Ya Sukkar” with Egyptian love songs of the sixties, the Orchestre National Mauritanien and “Veseli Romi” from the Balkans. And a series of double-sided pairings such as “L’Interplanetaire / Guitare Jet” by Les Jaguars and Les Talismans or “Oriental Cha Cha / Sirocco” by Roger King Mozian.
