What makes Factory special?

New Order, formed out of Joy Division, combined guitars with synthesizers and club rhythms: here you’ll find the early single “Procession / Everything’s Gone Green”, the 1985 album “Low-Life” and “Touched By The Hand Of God”.

In the late eighties Factory released the Happy Mondays, who combined guitar music with danceable rhythms and shaped the Madchester sound.
