What makes City Slang special?

Lambchop, led by Kurt Wagner from Nashville, released records on City Slang for many years: “Damaged” (2006) and “Mr. M” (2012) show their quiet, chamber-music country-soul, the 2004 double album “AWCMONNOYOUCMON” an earlier, lusher side. Hole’s “Live Through This” (1994) came out on City Slang in Europe.

Plus Tindersticks with “Past Imperfect”, a collection spanning three decades, Sweden’s José González with “Local Valley”, the Tuareg band Imarhan from Algeria with “Aboogi” and Radio 4 from New York with “Stealing Of A Nation”.
