Space Rock

Space rock on vinyl: rock on its way to space

In short: Space rock emerged in the late sixties and the seventies: long, hypnotic pieces with lots of reverb, early synthesizers and images of outer space. Early Pink Floyd, Hawkwind and Gong shaped the sound, and later bands such as Spiritualized took it up again. The Vinyl Room currently has 11 space rock records.
