Shadoks Music

Shadoks Music on vinyl: rediscovered psychedelic rock

In short: Shadoks Music is a German label that makes rare psychedelic and progressive rock records, mainly of the late sixties and seventies, available again – often albums that came out in small numbers back then and whose originals are hard to find today. The music is usually more than 50 years old; the pressings we have are newer editions. The Vinyl Room currently has 19 Shadoks records.

What makes Shadoks special?

Shadoks looks where others don’t: Burnin Red Ivanhoe from Denmark with “M 144”, Trúbrot from Iceland, the Finnish solo project Sepi Kuu and the Finnish bands Hamlet and Nimbus, plus rarities like White Light, Pete Fine and The Third Eye. Many of these names are known even to collectors only from lists.

For fans of psych and prog, reissues like these are often the only affordable way to this music. We also have “Tristan – A Rock Opera” by The Sun and Hurdy Gurdy.
