Rhino Records on vinyl: archive treasures and reissues

In short: Rhino Records was founded in Los Angeles in 1978 by Richard Foos and Harold Bronson and made its name with compilations and careful reissues. What makes Rhino Records special?

Treasures from the archive: Joni Mitchell’s 1969 concert at Carnegie Hall only came out decades later, plus there’s “Blue Highlights”. Lou Reed’s “Set The Twilight Reeling” (1996) has been reissued.

For collectors of soundtracks and grooves: the music for the continuation of the series “Twin Peaks” and “What It Is! Funky Soul And Rare Grooves”, a collection of rare funk and soul tracks.
