What makes Milan special?

Milan backs composers with a voice of their own. We have Cliff Martinez’s synthesizer music for “Only God Forgives”, Disasterpeace with “It Follows”, Mica Levi’s strings for “Jackie”, Colin Stetson’s saxophone for “Color Out Of Space” and Antonio Sanchez, who worked with nothing but drums for “Birdman”.

Ryuichi Sakamoto is here with “12”, the score to “Proxima” and the collection “Travesía”, curated by Alejandro González Iñárritu, plus the tribute “To The Moon And Back”. If you’re after classics, there’s Bernard Herrmann’s music for Hitchcock’s “Psycho” and “North By Northwest” – and, as a surprise, Jimmy Smith on organ.
