What makes Matador special?

Belle & Sebastian from Glasgow stand for fine, melancholy indie pop – here with “Storytelling”, “Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance” and “A Bit Of Previous”. Queens Of The Stone Age sound completely different on “...Like Clockwork” and “Villains”: heavy riffs that still dance.

Plus Snail Mail with “Valentine”, Kurt Vile with “Wakin On A Pretty Daze” and Copenhagen’s Iceage with “Plowing Into The Field Of Love”. And Darkside – Nicolas Jaar with guitarist Dave Harrington – combine electronics, blues and psychedelia on “Spiral”.
