What makes Fire Records special?

Indie classics reissued: the Lemonheads’ “It’s A Shame About Ray” (1992) is regarded as a classic of nineties US indie rock, and “Bufo Alvarius” is the debut of the Philadelphia psychedelic band Bardo Pond.

Alongside them, new voices: on “I’m A Dreamer” Josephine Foster sings songs as if from another time, and on “A Mythology Of Circles” (2020) Faten Kanaan builds quiet, circling soundscapes with synthesizers.
