What makes Dobre Records special?

Veterans with a love of playing: Dobre released “Never Before... Never Again”, a 1954 recording by Joe Venuti, one of the first great violinists in jazz, and guitarist Tony Romano. Trumpeters Pete and Conte Candoli play as the “Candoli Brothers”, and pianist Johnny Guarnieri devotes himself to the music of Walter Donaldson.

Plus new music from that time: drummer Chuck Flores with “Flores Azules”, the guitars of father and son Dave & Larry Koonse, Frankie Ortega with “Smokin’” and Sonny Til, once singer of The Orioles, with “Back To The Chapel”.
