What makes Areito special?

Cuba’s music first-hand: Orquesta Aragón play charanga with flute and violins, while Alberto Corrales shows the flute in danzón, the elegant 19th-century dance, on “La Flauta En El Danzón”.

The Grupo De Experimentación Sonora ICAIC was formed at the Cuban film institute, and Silvio Rodríguez – one of the leading figures of nueva trova – is represented with “Rabo De Nube”. Plus storyteller Luis Carbonell with “Dice Cuentos Cubanos”.
