Malk De Koijn

Malk De Koijn on vinyl: Danish hip-hop with imagination

In short: Malk De Koijn is a hip-hop trio from Denmark that has stood out since the nineties with absurd humour, wordplay and a fantasy language of its own. The group is regarded as one of the defining acts of Danish hip-hop. The Vinyl Room currently has 14 records by Malk De Koijn.

What makes Malk De Koijn special?

Rhymes that care little for rules: the debut album “Smash Hit In Aberdeen” already shows their idiosyncratic humour, and with “Toback To The Fromtime” – even the title plays with twisted language – the trio continued their style.

Plus releases such as “Rocstar”, “Å ÅÅ Mæio”, “Klap Din Hoddok” and “Kosmisk Kaos”, as well as the instrumental version of “Sneglzilla”.
