What makes Superfly Records special?

From Venezuela comes “Vuelven Los Dementes Con Ray Perez”: pianist Ray Pérez and his band Los Dementes play salsa, pachanga and boogaloo with plenty of drive. It shows how lively the Latin scene was beyond New York and Cuba.

To Nigeria lead “Green Leaves” by Sheila & Des Majek – synth-pop with Afro-reggae –, the music of Sir Waziri Oshomah and his Traditional Sound Makers, and “Uhuru Aiye” by Bob Ohiri & His Uhuru Sounds. From the Haitian scene in New York comes Ayizan with “Dilijans”.
