What makes Discos Fuentes special?

Antonio Fuentes was a musician himself. His label captured what people danced to on Colombia’s Caribbean coast: cumbia with horns and accordion, porro played by big brass bands like Pedro Laza’s, plus boleros and merengue. Under the name Toño Fuentes the founder also recorded the “Cuerdas Que Lloran” series – Hawaiian guitar with Latin American melodies.

We also have Los Millonarios, Los Graduados and Pastor López, compilations like “14 Cañonazos Bailables” and “Huracán Bailable” and even gaucho poems by El Indio Duarte.
